Even after using them for a while, it's still very hard to get more than 3 or 4 rounds in them. I took off the floor plate and pulled the spring out a couple of turns and held it firm. In each case it appeared that a new round tried to feed with the casing still in the barrel and in one case the casing was actually pushed into the barrel.Resolution update: After disassembling the gun and mating the slide directly to the frame (no grip module), the cause was found to be the hammer strike face jamming on bottom of the slide. The plastic frame contact appears to have been secondary, possibly from skewed slide angle (e.g. tipping up at back from contact).The CPX-2 has a small internal hammer that can be seen moving as you pull the trigger, and it has a true double-action-only trigger pull.
