I did psych, gen surg and OB COMAT. psych : 82%. gen surg : 84%. OB: 89%. COMLEX 2: 466 after a whopping 9 weeks of prep. Thus, it does not correlate. I did my Level 1 retake 2 weeks before my IM COMAT and thought that was enough for me personally but I think comquest alone would help you pass. There's like 450 questions for FM and like 1000+ for "Medicine". I felt like it had a good spread of systems like you mentioned but it tended to be more outpatient management oriented. Our school gives almost no weight to shelf, only need ~30th percentile on shelf with honors level clinical evals to get honors on the clerkship.
