Feb 9, 2023. #1. EG4 6500ex issue, showing 165v AC for input. Any one have this issue. Shows an F12 Fault code. tested ac input and its 124v. unit will shut down after turning on after about a minute. have a second unit and it works fine. was set to 2p1 on faulty inverter, 2p2 on the one that works fine. signature solar doesnt know whats the issue.40 amp breaker in main panel supplies grid to inverter. 40 amp breaker in inverter output, then to sub-panel. sub-panel breakers connect to house loads. nuetral and ground from sub-panel to main panel. confirmed N-G bond exists only in main panel. PS: The inverter ran for a week with no fault codes without grid power connected.I had a F06 code today on my single 6500EX inverter. Pretty much i need the inverter or ats to switch to the grid once's the battery reaches 20% and back to off grid sub panel when then battery are charged at 80%. Not sure if the eg4 6500ex can do it.
