The Glenfield 30A was produced from around 1971/1972 to about 1981/1982 when it became the Marlin Mod 30AS. They are a quality Marlin made under the Glenfield name. They have the hardwood stocks, end cap and one barrel band, dovetailed front sight, and a non-folding rear sight---the rest of the rifle is pretty much the same as the Mod 336.It's an old Glenfield Model 30 A, which is basically a Marlin 336 in a different wrapper.
