Mar 30, 2008 · Mar 30, 2008. #1. I have a 15 hp Gamefisher mod255.581506. I believe its a 1993 year model. I got it in New condition from an estate sale, but no manual. Can some one tell me the proper spark plug size. I replaced them last year with what was in it (can,t remember the size) but fished all winter with it and they are fouling out. There is a nut and rod (pinion?) attached above the flywheel which the starter fits over. There are roller bearings inside the starter assembly which seem to fit over the rod/pinion/flywheel.

07-19-2004, 06:06 PM. Hey guys, I asked for and received some very nice help in earlier posts concerning my Sears Gamefisher 5hp motor. I though (and maybe did) have a problem with the float sticking. I took the bottom bowl portion of the carburator off and gave it a throurough cleaning. It really didn't need it however as it was immaculate.

Re: 1989 15hp Gamefisher/Force. Well, I went looking for a parts motor, and found a 1989 Force 15 nearly identical to the Gamefisher 15. The thing pulled a 14' fiberglass skiff with two onboard at a good clip, (I'd guess about 18 mph or so with two big guys onboard). My father has a 9.9 GF (which I beleive is the same head as the 15) which is made by Chrysler/force.
