Failed NCLEX at 85, Lost Dream Job Offer & Feeling Defeated. Hi friends! I've been a long time lurker on this Reddit and feeling hopeless. I graduated 4 months ago (3.9 GPA, honors, mostly good student), spent ~3 weeks studying on/off. Found out this morning I failed at 85. It took me 4 hrs 38 min to do 85q before it cut me off.It shut off at 76 because it determined with a 95% confidence that you would pass or fail at that point. At this point, you can try the PVT (and potentially put yet another $200 at risk) or you can wait until quick results are available (assuming your state participates). stopped at 85. i just took the nclex today and stopped at 85. i didn't have a lot of medication questions but heavy on case studies, SATAs, prioritizations. it is my 2nd take. i failed at 150 last year. i dont wanna do pvt trick bc it has changed now and pearson actually charges you now and can't be refunded :/.
