Truck runs cross country towing 12k cargo trailer with 215,000 miles. In the past month, when I’m downshifting using the exhaust brake to slow down, it will jump to 4th gear and stay there. Got in truck after a short drive and started down the road and the truck would not shift out of first gear. I did a restart on the road and nothing changed. When I go from park to drive it immediately displays 1st gear and stays there.

I am not hard on the truck and changed the fluid and filters at 100k. It doesnt make any attempt to move in drive, but also doesnt make any noises.
