The passenger side should have some fuses for ones that control the interior lights, doors etc. Check those. They should be 10 or 15 amp fuses.They are run through a relay but not sure that relay is replaceable by itself as it's part of a relay control module. You might also check fuse #7 and #21 in the driver's side under-dash fuse box. That's the only bit that doesn't add up to me, since as far as I know, the key is mechanically connected to the lock - there's nothing electrical that happens. Meaning, you can lock/unlock the door with the battery disconnected. That aside, it does sound like something electrical. Maybe the battery is toast.
