Moving my character has slowed down to be painstaking slow. I have submitted a bug to Larian with no response. It's not a GOG-specific issue; the problem was the hard drive being overwhelmed by lots of requests, forcing BG3 to wait. Assuming Windows, use Task Manager to check if the drive is hitting 100%. Long load times are normally based on the hard drive. Check what model you have. If it is in fact a hard drive, I highly recommend you get a solid state drive. Thats the single biggest increase you can achieve, and fairly cheap. Mind you since you're on a laptop you probably need to replace your existing drive.
