Only 3 are needed for the triumph and most people should hopefully have 3 before resetting Xur's reputation (80-ish Dares). Running Legend Dares increases the chances of lightning rounds considerably. They are much more frequent on Legend.Having that extra slot is definitely super helpful. I do think it is easier to get higher rolled spikey armor in legend dares than master goa though.
