With it parked, just idling, no issues. I'm going to take it to the shop later today or Monday. Just looking for thoughts if anyone has seen this issue.

Last year, my TJ used to overheat in 4Hi while driving on flat soft sand. I dealt with this problem for a while but never got around to fixing it. When I shift back into 2wd, the temp gauge would climb back down to 210.

If low, then fill and bleed the air out of the system. If full, there can still be air in the system from the Thermostat change out.

Start the engine and let it warm up. As it is warming up, monitor the heater hoses. See if there is flow through the hoses. Run the heater fan full blast. See if there is flow through the heater core. If so, then the water pump is working.To recap - I was having issues with the Jeep dying while driving and while at a stop light.
