I'm expecting it to happen for BO3 someday as well. As for now, good luck on finding a team ;) Killing the Shadowman is not the ending of the EE. You get the marker after you finish it in its entirety, and there's still one more step to do after that. And since you can't get the marker just for killing him in co-op, there's no way that would change for solo, either. Answers like this could be avoided just by using common sense.
